Silky Oaks Lodge
Adjoining the World Heritage-listed wilderness of the Daintree National Park, Silky Oaks Lodge offers guests a stylish rainforest escape. Austral Ariaply (in Spotted Gum) was used as a decorative ceiling lining in many areas of Silky Oaks, including the restaurant, bar and pool areas, and the guest lodges themselves. Important to the designers was the use of Australian manufactured plywood, using wood sourced from sustainable plantations.
