Hoop pine interior plywood wall coverings.

Hoop pine Interior Plywood is manufactured to AS 2270 and is intended for use in non-structural, interior applications where a high quality aesthetic finish is required. Typical applications include internal wall panelling, furniture and fitments, interior door skins and ceiling linings. Interior plywood must not be used in exposed, wet or damp conditions.

Acoustic

Hoop pine plywood has become very popular in commercial applications where the natural warmth of hoop pine is combined with the acoustic properties of panel perforations. Sizes and thicknesses for this product: 1800x1200, 2400x900, 2400x1200 and 2700x1200mm, in thicknesses of 6.5, 9, 12.5 and 16mm. More information

Fire Retarded

A treatment process that leaves the panel free of surface residue and discolouration. Natural air drying of all panels avoids surface checking and veneer lifting, and provides an excellent surface for clear finish, lime wash or painting. Each panel is stamped (on the back) to identify the relevant treatment and a certificate of fire retardancy is issued on completion of the particular project. The process is certified by C.S.I.R.O. to AS 1530 Part 3. See "Technical Information" for further details.

Bending

Bending plywood in Hoop pine is available for those hard to cover jobs such as internal pillars and curved reception areas. This product is available in 2400x1200mm panels in thicknesses of 1.5, 2 and 3mm. More information

Shopfitting

Shopfitting is an application where the use of Hoop pine is increasing rapidly. It is easily worked with conventional wood working tools and, being assured of an "A" grade face can save costly time spent trying to improve a lower grade plywood. A wide range of sizes offer cost effective alternatives when a smaller panel size than 2400x1200mm is required.
