Hoop Pine
Austral Plywoods manufactures plywood from 100% Australian grown plantation Hoop Pine. A labour intensive selection process strives to achieve the highest quality faced plywood within each product category.
F17 Stress Grade
Our structural, marine and exterior products are rated with a stress grade of F17. This superior stress grade is attributable to our premium Hoop Pine resource, the efficient utilisation of that resource, and a commitment to quality manufacture. (The Exterior standard, AS/NZS 2271, does not allow the designation of stress grades, however our exterior products also comply with the Structural standard AS/NZS 2269 F17 stress grade rating.)
Quality Assured
Austral Plywoods manufactures according to the requirements of the EWPAA-JAS-ANZ quality control and product certification scheme. Purchasers thus can have confidence in the quality of the product.
Chain of Custody
The Austral Plywoods product range is certified for Chain of Custody under AS 4707:2006. Please view the Chain of Custody page for more information.
Low Formaldehyde Emissions
We utilise glue systems that are low in formaldehyde. EWPAA testing has permitted us to label our products with an E0 rating, the lowest obtainable.
